SUSPENSIÓN DE CLASES JUEVES 13 Y VIERNES 14 DE JUNIO

On March 2nd, 2026, we proudly opened the doors of our school to welcome our students back and begin a new academic year.<o:p></o:p>We started this new cycle with joy, enthusiasm, and great expectations, delighted to come together again as a community and to fill our classrooms with learning, curiosity, and friendship.<o:p></o:p>We are very happy to begin this year accompanying our students in new challenges, learning experiences, and opportunities that will continue to support their academic and personal growth.<o:p></o:p><div style="border-bottom:1.0pt solid windowtext;border-left-style:none;border-right-style:none;border-top-style:none;mso-border-bottom-alt:solid windowtext .75pt;mso-element:para-border-div;padding:0cm 0cm 1.0pt;"><p class="MsoNormal" style="border-style:none;line-height:normal;mso-border-bottom-alt:solid windowtext .75pt;mso-margin-bottom-alt:auto;mso-margin-top-alt:auto;mso-padding-alt:0cm 0cm 1.0pt 0cm;padding:0cm;">We wish everyone a wonderful 2026 filled with learning, friendship, and great achievements. <o:p></o:p></div> El 2 de marzo de 2026 abrimos nuevamente las puertas de nuestro colegio para dar inicio a un nuevo año escolar junto a nuestros queridos estudiantes.<o:p></o:p>Comenzamos este nuevo ciclo con alegría, entusiasmo y grandes expectativas, felices de reencontrarnos como comunidad y de volver a llenar nuestras salas de aprendizaje, curiosidad y compañerismo.<o:p></o:p>Estamos muy contentos de iniciar este año acompañando a nuestros estudiantes en nuevos desafíos, aprendizajes y experiencias que seguirán fortaleciendo su desarrollo académico y personal.<o:p></o:p>¡Les deseamos a todos un maravilloso 2026 lleno de aprendizajes, amistad y grandes logros!<o:p></o:p>

Welcome back! 

En el marco del compromiso institucional con la innovación pedagógica y la formación continua, el equipo de profesores del colegio participó en una charla/capacitación sobre el uso ético de la Inteligencia Artificial (IA) en la práctica docente, instancia orientada a fortalecer el uso responsable y ético de estas tecnologías en el aula.<o:p></o:p>La actividad fue impartida por Fransa Aravena, Ingeniera en Informática, y tuvo como objetivo general entregar conocimientos básicos sobre qué es y cómo funciona la Inteligencia Artificial, promoviendo su uso intencionado, equilibrado y ético en el contexto educativo, considerando además la Ley 21.719 de Protección de Datos Personales<o:p></o:p>Durante la capacitación se abordaron contenidos fundamentales como la comprensión del funcionamiento de la Inteligencia Artificial, los aspectos éticos asociados a su uso, los posibles sesgos y precauciones, así como las oportunidades y riesgos que implica su incorporación en el ámbito educativo. Asimismo, se reflexionó sobre los beneficios profesionales de integrar herramientas de IA en la práctica docente y la importancia de resguardar la información y los datos personales.<o:p></o:p>En una segunda etapa, la charla se centró en el uso práctico de herramientas basadas en Inteligencia Artificial, presentando aplicaciones concretas orientadas a optimizar el tiempo y apoyar la labor pedagógica. Esta instancia incluyó demostraciones guiadas de herramientas digitales y una reflexión inicial sobre la posibilidad de avanzar hacia un marco regulatorio interno para el uso de IA en el colegio.<o:p></o:p>Esta capacitación reafirma el compromiso del colegio con una educación de calidad, donde la tecnología se concibe como un apoyo al trabajo docente y al aprendizaje significativo, promoviendo siempre una mirada ética, crítica y centrada en las personas.<o:p></o:p>&nbsp;<hr>&nbsp;<o:p></o:p>As part of the institution’s commitment to pedagogical innovation and continuous professional development, the school’s teaching staff participated in a lecture and training session on the ethical use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in teaching practice. This initiative aimed to strengthen the responsible and ethical use of these technologies in the classroom.<o:p></o:p>The session was delivered by Fransa Aravena, Computer Engineer, and its main objective was to provide basic knowledge about what Artificial Intelligence is and how it works, promoting its intentional, balanced, and ethical use in the educational context, while also considering Law 21,719 on the Protection of Personal Data.<o:p></o:p>During the training, fundamental topics were addressed, including an understanding of how Artificial Intelligence functions, the ethical aspects associated with its use, potential biases and precautions, as well as the opportunities and risks involved in its incorporation into the educational field. In addition, participants reflected on the professional benefits of integrating AI-based tools into teaching practice and the importance of safeguarding information and personal data.<o:p></o:p>In a second stage, the session focused on the practical use of Artificial Intelligence tools, presenting concrete applications aimed at optimizing time and supporting pedagogical work. This part included guided demonstrations of digital tools and an initial reflection on the possibility of developing an internal regulatory framework for the use of AI within the school.<o:p></o:p>This training reinforces the school’s commitment to quality education, where technology is understood as a support for teaching practice and meaningful learning, always promoting an ethical, critical, and people-centered approach.<o:p></o:p>

Último día de clases 2025: un año de crecimiento, logros y grandes momentos<o:p></o:p>Hoy celebramos el cierre del año escolar 2025, un período lleno de aprendizajes, desafíos superados y experiencias significativas para todos nuestros estudiantes. A lo largo del año, vimos cómo crecieron en autonomía, responsabilidad y habilidades socioemocionales, fortaleciendo el compañerismo y el sentido de comunidad que caracterizan a nuestro colegio.<o:p></o:p>Este año estuvo marcado por múltiples actividades que enriquecieron la vida escolar: proyectos colaborativos, celebraciones especiales, instancias artísticas y deportivas, y muchas oportunidades para explorar, crear y disfrutar. Cada una de estas experiencias contribuyó a que nuestros estudiantes vivieran un año lleno de alegría, descubrimiento y logros.<o:p></o:p>Queremos expresar nuestro profundo agradecimiento a las familias, cuyo compromiso y apoyo constante hacen posible el desarrollo integral de nuestros niños y niñas. Extendemos también nuestro reconocimiento a los equipos directivos, administrativos, docentes y personal auxiliar, quienes, desde cada uno de sus roles, contribuyeron de manera fundamental al bienestar y aprendizaje de nuestros estudiantes. Su dedicación, profesionalismo y compromiso hicieron posible que cada proceso formativo avanzara con sentido y cariño.<o:p></o:p>Les deseamos unas muy felices vacaciones y esperamos reencontrarnos el próximo año con energías renovadas y nuevas metas por alcanzar. ¡Gracias por ser parte fundamental de este 2025!<o:p></o:p>&nbsp;<hr>&nbsp;<o:p></o:p>Last Day of School 2025: A Year of Growth, Achievements, and Memorable Moments<o:p></o:p>Today we celebrate the end of the 2025 school year, a period filled with learning, meaningful challenges, and significant experiences for all our students. Throughout the year, we witnessed their growth in autonomy, responsibility, and social emotional skills, strengthening the sense of community and teamwork that characterize our school.<o:p></o:p>This year was marked by a wide variety of activities that enriched school life: collaborative projects, special celebrations, artistic and sports events, and many opportunities to explore, create, and enjoy. Each of these experiences contributed to a year full of joy, discovery, and meaningful accomplishments for our students.<o:p></o:p>We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our families, whose ongoing commitment and support make the integral development of our children possible. We also recognize our leadership teams, administrative staff, teachers, and support personnel who, from each of their roles, contributed in essential ways to the wellbeing and learning of our students. Their dedication, professionalism, and commitment made every step of the educational process meaningful and nurturing.<o:p></o:p>We wish you all a wonderful vacation and look forward to meeting again next year with renewed energy and new goals to achieve.
