Hoy vivimos una jornada muy especial en Kendal English School para despedir nuestro segundo trimestre y dar inicio a las celebraciones de Fiestas Patrias.Nuestros estudiantes llegaron al colegio luciendo con mucho entusiasmo sus trajes típicos chilenos, llenando cada espacio de colores, alegría y espíritu dieciochero. Durante la jornada participaron en entretenidos juegos colectivos, disfrutaron de música chilena y compartieron momentos de encuentro y compañerismo junto a sus compañeros y profesores.Para finalizar esta celebración, cada curso disfrutó de una alegre convivencia, donde pudieron compartir y degustar diferentes comidas típicas de nuestro país, cerrando así una mañana llena de tradiciones y buenos momentos.Con esta hermosa jornada damos por finalizado nuestro segundo trimestre, agradeciendo a nuestros estudiantes, familias y equipo Kendaliano por todo el compromiso, entusiasmo y dedicación demostrados durante estos meses.¡Esperamos que todos disfruten de unas lindas y merecidas vacaciones y de unas muy felices Fiestas Patrias junto a sus familias! Nos reencontraremos con mucha energía el lunes 21 de septiembre para comenzar juntos nuestro tercer y último trimestre del año escolar.¡Felices Fiestas Patrias y nos vemos a la vuelta!    Celebrating Our Traditions to Close the Second Term! Today was a very special day at Kendal English School as we said goodbye to our Second Term and welcomed the celebrations of Chilean Independence Day,  Fiestas Patrias.Our students came to school proudly wearing their traditional Chilean outfits, filling our school with colour, joy, and festive spirit. Throughout the day, they took part in fun group games, enjoyed Chilean music, and shared wonderful moments with their classmates and teachers.To complete the celebration, each class enjoyed a special get-together, where students had the opportunity to share and taste a variety of traditional Chilean food, bringing this joyful day to a wonderful close.With this special celebration, we officially conclude our Second Term. We would like to thank our students, families, and the entire Kendalian community for their enthusiasm, commitment, and dedication throughout these past months.We wish everyone a wonderful and well-deserved break and a very happy Fiestas Patrias with family and loved ones! We look forward to welcoming our students back on Monday, September 21st, when we will begin our third and final term of the school year together.Happy Fiestas Patrias, and see you soon! 

Con mucha alegría invitamos a toda nuestra comunidad Kendaliana a participar de nuestra esperada Muestra Folclórica 2026, que se realizará el próximo lunes 7 de septiembre, a partir de las 18:00 horas, en el Estadio del Banco Central.Esta tradicional celebración reunirá a nuestros estudiantes desde Prekínder hasta 4° Medio, quienes nos presentarán diferentes danzas típicas de Chile y Latinoamérica, compartiendo a través de la música y el baile la riqueza de nuestras tradiciones y cultura.Será una hermosa instancia para encontrarnos como comunidad, disfrutar del trabajo que nuestros estudiantes y profesores han preparado con tanto entusiasmo y acompañar cada una de sus presentaciones.Además, durante la jornada contaremos con stands de comida, para que nuestras familias puedan disfrutar y compartir en un ambiente alegre y festivo.Les recordamos los horarios para esa jornada:CAMBIO DE JORNADA: No hay clases en el colegio.Llegada de los estudiantes a Banco Central: 17:00 horas.Inicio del evento: 18:00 horas.¡Los esperamos para celebrar juntos nuestras raíces, tradiciones y el talento de nuestros estudiantes!   Let’s Celebrate Our 2026 Folkloric Show!We are delighted to invite our entire Kendalian community to our much-awaited 2026 Folkloric Show, which will take place on Monday, September 7th, starting at 6:00 p.m. at Estadio del Banco Central.This traditional celebration will bring together our students from Pre-Kinder to 12th Grade, who will perform a variety of traditional dances from Chile and Latin America, celebrating the richness of our culture and traditions through music and dance.It will be a wonderful opportunity to come together as a community, enjoy the performances our students and teachers have prepared with great enthusiasm, and support them as they proudly take the stage.Throughout the event, families will also be able to enjoy a variety of food stands, creating a joyful and festive atmosphere for everyone to share.We would like to remind you of the schedule for that day:SCHEDULE CHANGE: There will be no classes at school.Student arrival at Banco Central: 5:00 p.m.Event begins: 6:00 p.m.We look forward to celebrating our roots, traditions, and our students’ wonderful talent together!
