Celebramos el 33° Aniversario del Colegio Kendal English SchoolEsta semana hemos vivido una emocionante celebración con motivo del 33° aniversario de nuestro Colegio Kendal English School. Como es tradición, los estudiantes participaron en las Alianzas Windsor y York, las cuales este año añadieron un componente especial incorporando temáticas históricas: Egipto y Grecia, respectivamente. Esta combinación permitió no solo fomentar el espíritu de competencia sana, sino también integrar elementos culturales y educativos en cada actividad.A lo largo de la semana se llevaron a cabo diferentes instancias de participación y trabajo colaborativo entre los estudiantes, entre ellas:Decoración de salas con los elementos característicos de cada temática.Elaboración y presentación de creativos birthday cakes confeccionados con cartón y otros materiales reciclados.Recolección de donaciones para Helping Hands, promoviendo la solidaridad y el compromiso social.Creación de una cápsula del tiempo, que será resguardada para las futuras generaciones Kendalinas.Actividades deportivas y recreativas que fortalecieron el compañerismo y la vida saludable.Uno de los momentos más esperados fue el desfile, donde los estudiantes lucieron hermosos disfraces representando a sus alianzas y temáticas, llenando los espacios de color, alegría y entusiasmo.Este aniversario fue una instancia significativa para recordar nuestra historia como comunidad educativa y proyectarnos hacia el futuro, siempre manteniendo nuestros valores y el espíritu Kendalino que nos caracteriza.Agradecemos la participación, energía y compromiso de estudiantes, profesores y familias, quienes hicieron posible esta celebración tan especial. --Kendal English School Celebrates its 33rd AnniversaryThis week, our school joyfully celebrated the 33rd anniversary of Kendal English School with a variety of special activities that promoted creativity, teamwork, and school spirit. As is tradition, students participated in the Windsor and York Houses, and this year each house was also assigned a cultural theme: Ancient Egypt and Ancient Greece, adding a historical and educational touch to the celebration.Throughout the week, students took part in a number of engaging activities, including:Classroom decoration inspired by each house’s cultural themePresentation of creative birthday cakes made from cardboard and other craft materialsDonations collected for Helping Hands, fostering solidarity and social responsibilityCreation of a time capsule to be opened by future generations of Kendal studentsSports and recreational activities that strengthened teamwork and healthy participationOne of the highlights of the celebration was the moment when students showcased their beautiful costumes, proudly representing their alliances and themes, filling the school with colour, excitement, and joy.This anniversary was a meaningful opportunity to honour our school’s history while continuing to build our identity as a united community, looking toward the future with commitment and enthusiasm.We thank all students, teachers, and families whose dedication and participation made this celebration a memorable one.

El pasado miércoles 29 de octubre, los estudiantes de 3° básico de las sedes Providencia y Ñuñoa participaron en una enriquecedora jornada de integración, realizada en el Parque Padre Alberto Hurtado.Durante la actividad, los niños y niñas disfrutaron de dinámicas especialmente diseñadas para conocerse y fortalecer la convivencia entre ambos cursos. Posteriormente, participaron en distintos juegos deportivos y recreativos, donde se vivieron momentos de alegría, trabajo en equipo y sana convivencia.La jornada culminó con un picnic al aire libre, instancia que permitió compartir en un ambiente natural y de camaradería, reforzando vínculos y construyendo recuerdos significativos.Agradecemos a todos quienes hicieron posible esta actividad, que contribuye al desarrollo socioemocional de nuestros estudiantes y al fortalecimiento de la comunidad Kendalina. 3rd Grade Integration Day – Providencia & Ñuñoa Branches On Wednesday, October 29th, the 3rd grade students from the Providencia and Ñuñoa branches participated in a meaningful Integration Day held at Parque Padre Alberto Hurtado.Throughout the morning, the children took part in a variety of activities designed to help them get to know one another better and strengthen bonds between both groups. They enjoyed team-building dynamics, sports games, and recreational activities, all within an environment of joy, friendship, and cooperation.The day concluded with a picnic, giving students the opportunity to share, relax, and connect in a natural and welcoming setting.We thank everyone who helped make this experience possible, as it contributes to the social and emotional development of our students and encourages a sense of community within Kendal English School.
