CLASES DE NATACIÓN PARA 3° Y 4° BÁSICODurante el mes de noviembre, los estudiantes de 3° y 4° básico participarán en clases de natación, como parte de una unidad pedagógica correspondiente al currículum de Educación Física y Salud de nuestro programa académico.Las clases se desarrollarán en las instalaciones del Club Deportivo de la Universidad San Sebastián, donde los estudiantes contarán con espacios adecuados y todas las medidas de seguridad necesarias para el desarrollo de la actividad.Esta iniciativa tiene como objetivo desarrollar habilidades acuáticas básicas, promover la seguridad en el agua y fortalecer la autonomía y confianza de los estudiantes en un entorno controlado y seguro. Además, la natación es una actividad altamente beneficiosa para el bienestar físico, contribuyendo al desarrollo de la coordinación motora, la resistencia, la respiración y la conciencia corporal.Las sesiones serán guiadas por los docentes del colegio, quienes garantizarán una experiencia formativa segura, estructurada y significativa para todos.Estamos muy contentos de ofrecer esta instancia educativa que fomenta hábitos de vida saludable y aprendizaje activo más allá del aula. SWIMMING LESSONS FOR 3rd AND 4th GRADE STUDENTSThroughout the month of November, our 3rd and 4th grade students will participate in swimming lessons as part of the Physical Education and Health curriculum. These lessons will take place at the Sports Club of Universidad San Sebastián, where students will benefit from professional facilities and a safe environment adapted for aquatic learning.The purpose of this unit is to help students develop basic swimming skills, learn about water safety, and build confidence and independence in the water. Swimming is not only an essential life skill but also a highly beneficial activity that improves motor coordination, endurance, breathing capacity, and overall physical well-being.All sessions will be led by our teaching staff, ensuring a structured, safe, and enjoyable learning experience.We are proud to provide this opportunity, which promotes healthy habits, physical development, and meaningful learning beyond the classroom. 

Celebramos el 33° Aniversario del Colegio Kendal English SchoolEsta semana hemos vivido una emocionante celebración con motivo del 33° aniversario de nuestro Colegio Kendal English School. Como es tradición, los estudiantes participaron en las Alianzas Windsor y York, las cuales este año añadieron un componente especial incorporando temáticas históricas: Egipto y Grecia, respectivamente. Esta combinación permitió no solo fomentar el espíritu de competencia sana, sino también integrar elementos culturales y educativos en cada actividad.A lo largo de la semana se llevaron a cabo diferentes instancias de participación y trabajo colaborativo entre los estudiantes, entre ellas:Decoración de salas con los elementos característicos de cada temática.Elaboración y presentación de creativos birthday cakes confeccionados con cartón y otros materiales reciclados.Recolección de donaciones para Helping Hands, promoviendo la solidaridad y el compromiso social.Creación de una cápsula del tiempo, que será resguardada para las futuras generaciones Kendalinas.Actividades deportivas y recreativas que fortalecieron el compañerismo y la vida saludable.Uno de los momentos más esperados fue el desfile, donde los estudiantes lucieron hermosos disfraces representando a sus alianzas y temáticas, llenando los espacios de color, alegría y entusiasmo.Este aniversario fue una instancia significativa para recordar nuestra historia como comunidad educativa y proyectarnos hacia el futuro, siempre manteniendo nuestros valores y el espíritu Kendalino que nos caracteriza.Agradecemos la participación, energía y compromiso de estudiantes, profesores y familias, quienes hicieron posible esta celebración tan especial. --Kendal English School Celebrates its 33rd AnniversaryThis week, our school joyfully celebrated the 33rd anniversary of Kendal English School with a variety of special activities that promoted creativity, teamwork, and school spirit.
